My fellow Mountbattens,
So I'm creating this blog towards the end of my time with Mountbatten. I needed a break from writing my dissertation on the financial sustainability of microfinance institutions in Thailand. I started thinking, it would be really cool to have a place where Mountbattens, old and new, could keep in touch and discuss their experiences and travels during and after the Mountbatten program.
I remember, about a year and a half ago, having a ton of questions when I first applied to the MB scheme. It was really hard to find any information with substance on the web. I thought about messaging someone I found on facebook who participated in the program a few years ago but I figured that would be a bit stalkerish. This blog is also an open forum for prospective MBs to ask veteran MBs questions about anything, without having to use the creepy stalker strategy.
I hope this becomes a helpful and open place to talk about careers, travel and Mountbatten. Feedback is encouraged so if you'd like to see a certain topic discussed or just have any regular old complaint just leave a comment.
Off to analyze Grameen Bank's income statement...
